#REF error on furmula

Hi,

I have some formulas for a dashboard that have been running for quite some time and now all of the sudden I receive this error "#REF" on them. I have double checked to see if something has changed but no, everything is still the same.

I also checked some of the answers for other people with the same problem but there is not much information. Their problem got fixed after some time without doing anything specific but mine is still getting the error message.

Any idea how to fix this?

There could be a few possible reason for the #REF Error. Few of them are listed below:

1. Referencing cell, column, rows, or the sheet is deleted
2. The sheet is unshared with you
3. On the dashboard maybe the report is deleted
4. Report unshared with you.

As I said, these are just possibilities but but there might be some other error as well. Would you mind sharing some more information around the situation?

Hi Amit,

Thanks, I just looked and they are working just fine. I haven't done anything. It looks just fine. Do you know why is that? Apparently I'm not the only one with this problem.

How busy is the sheet? Do you have many columns/rows, cell links, and cross-sheet formulas?

This error seems to happen intermittently when referencing cells in other sheets. (Perhaps it's a memory issue from too many references?) It's frustrating ....
