How to get email notifications when am using card view and card is moving from one lane to another?

Hi,

We are working in Kanban model using Card view and have different lanes like Dev, QA, UAT etc. I do get standard notifications when tagged in comments however when any card is moved from one lane to another (Dev to QA for example) how can I (or whoever is assigned as owner for card) get notification that it is moved so I can start working on it?

You would need to set up Automations to trigger based on whichever field your lanes are based on.

Hello Bhooshan - It helps if you look at the sheet in Grid view to identify which column is changing. If Dev, QA, UAT are stored in a column called STATUS or STAGE or something similar, you would build your automation based on when that column changes. For example:

TRIGGER: When rows are changed, when STATUS changes. RUN WORKFLOW: When triggered. CONDITION: Where Status = whatever status you are looking to create notifications for

If automation is the only way, do I need any add-in or plug-in t integrate? Any helpful resources on building automation workflow would help.

No, you can't do this without automation, but it's quite straightforward, and you don't need any plugins or anything else.
