I use the Send as Attachment function to update several leaders in our company. I have tried the PDF and XLS versions but have a problem. All off the Grouping and Summaries in the report are stripped out. Is there a way to generate the Send and keep the Group and Summary data?

    Hi @TerryVR

I hope you're well and safe!

    Unfortunately, not yet.

Here's a possible workaround or workarounds

    • Add the Report to a Dashboard, save it as a PDF, and then send it.

    Would that work/help?

    I hope that helps!

Be safe and have a fantastic week!

  • I too would like to have an option for the report to be able to be sent out with the groupings and summary included. The dashboard way doesn't work because I cannot automate it to be send automatically. The grouping is important because I have data from multiple projects and without that label you can not identify what task went with each project.

    Hi @TerryVR, @snagyGilmore,

I created a browser extension and implemented a new PDF generator to solve this problem. You can click here to download the browser extension.

Then click the "SSFeatures" button at the top, and then click "Generate PDF".

Here is an example of what the generated PDF looks like, notice how it has all of the grouped and summary rows:

If you have any feedback, feel free to respond here, or email me at nathan@ssfeatures.com.

I hope this works for you!
