COUNTIF date is with 365 days

Hey Guys!

i need help with a formula to tally individual staff total absences within that last 365 days

example: For Staff 1 there would be a count of 2 for absences in the last 365 days and for staff 2 there would be 1 absence.

You would need something like this:

=COUNTIFS(Staff:Staff, @cell = "Staff 1", Date:Date, @cell >= TODAY(-365))

The other option would be to create a report, filter by date being within the last 365 days, group by staff, then summarize/count the staff.
