Total Row in a column formula table

I built a formula table with column formulas and I am trying to add a total row at the bottom to the column formula but I keep getting a #Circular Reference. It needs to be a column formula because the sheet is being created partly by a pivot table then the rest is cross sheet reference formulas. As new things are added to the source sheet it needs to automatically add to the Pivot table creation. If it is not a column formula then it does not automatically add the formula to the new row. Does any one know how to add a total Row for a column formula?

If using a column formula I think the only way to represent a column total would be by creating a total in the sheet summary cell area.

There's no way to add a different formula in a column that already has a column formula in place.
