Support on Countifs formula

Hi all,

I am having issues with a formula where is am wanting to pick up on -

Column 1 - Dropdown field, but i only want to reference where entry is NEW

Column 2 - this is a dropdown list with approx 30 options (eg White, Red, Black, Yellow)

I am trying to create a Summary field that does a COUNTIF for all variations of the 30 options within the Dropdown field.

Appreciate any support available as I know this is easy but i cannot work out!

Regards

Kegan

    Hi @Kegan Copas

I hope you're well and safe!

    Try something like this.

    =COUNTIFS([Column 1]:[Column 1], "NEW", [Column 2]:[Column 2], "White")

    Did that work/help?

    I hope that helps!

Be safe and have a fantastic weekend!

  • @Andrée Starå - I've been struggling to take this a step further and include multiple options from column 2.

So in my example, Column 1 is Priority, and I want to countif ="1-High", but only if Column 2 (Status) is = "Open" or " Investigating" or "Implementing" (i.e. excluding "Resolved" and "Moved to Enhancement Log").

    Appreciate any guidance. Thx
