Why doesn't SmartSheet have a 'Link Tasks' button like Microsoft Project so I can link a large number of tasks at once ?

This seems to have been asked for by MANY Smartsheet users going back as far as 2015 but NOTHING has been done about it.

If I have created a large number of new tasks how do I link them 'Finish to Start' quickly and easily ? Without having to do them one at a time ?

You can copy/paste predecessors. If you still want your idea, then feel free to explore the Ideas topic. If someone else has already posted this feature request there then you can vote on it. If they have not then you can create a post yourself and allow others to vote on it.

In your original post (before you edited it) you mentioned copy/pasting the new tasks and wanting them to have the same predecessors. It seems though that maybe you changed your mind on what you were looking for, so feel free to browse the Ideas topic as mentioned.

Looks like SmartSheet has failed to implement this feature for a VERY LONG TIME....
