Countif a value is within a range of Owner Names

    @Psaul Henry Could you share some screenshots and a detailed description of exactly what you are counting based on what? I think I can offer a resolution but I need more details. It is hard to help without a visual reference and a good understanding of your end goal. You can make a copy of the sheets and scrub the data before screenshoting. Thanks!

  • Apologies for the late reply.

    I want to find the total number of individuals from a range of Owner names with the status 1. New.

    The formula is below.

    =COUNTIFS(Owner:Owner, {New Sheet Range 1}, Status:Status, "1. New")

    The problem I find is that the '{New Sheet Range 1}' criterion doesn't allow select individual Names from the range of names shown (Names under 'New Sheet').

    John, Alfie, Albert, Paul, Don
