Notifications not being received by @gmx.com email addresses

I have a set of workflows that send questions and replies to users on regular intervals. It seems as though users with @gmx.com email addresses don't receive any notifications, but those with @gmx.co.uk do. Any suggestions on how to resolve the issue?
