Distance Between Addresses or Zip Codes

Hello,

We have an expense reimbursement form that we're using for a group of employees. One of the reimbursement categories is based on the distance from their home to the festival site. I don't think it's possible as it stands, but I wonder if anyone has used a 3rd party application to calculate distances between addresses or zip codes. I ran across a 3rd party app called Mapsly that may work but I wanted to know if anyone had any solutions or success solving this problem.

That's an interesting use case. I have done that in another project out of Smartsheet, but as long as you get address captured in Smartsheet, you can use Smartsheet API and Google Services to achieve this. This could be a potentially cheaper and more reliable choice - https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/distance-matrix/overview

You need to pass on both the addresses to the API, find the geo-coordinates and then pass the coordinates to distance matrix for calculating exact distance between the two addresses.
