Cross sheet query

I have a number of project sheets and master sheet with summary details of each project. When I complete a certain task in an individual project sheet I would like that to tick a check box against that project entry in the master sheet. Is that possible? What formula do I need? Your advice would be much appreciated - thank you.

Depending how your project sheet is arranged it could be possible. Without seeing your sheets, I would suggest an IF(COUNTIFS()>0 in your master sheet where you are looking for the task to show up. When the COUNTIFS is more than zero it should mean the criteria within your COUNTIFS has shown up.
