Checkbox Functionality

I've been converting another group's GoogleSheet into SS. Is there a way to create functionality that limits the checkboxes in a column to one true value? Meaning, if a different box is checked, all others are unchecked?

Essentially, the true would then feed a vlookup for chart formulas on another sheet. I could obviously just use a dropdown list of options, but trying to sell SS's functionality from the user experience side.
