Available Meeting TimeC

 Hi @Paul Newcome @AndreeP

I have a sheet where I'm trying find the meeting Slots

Need to Create a calendar Smartsheet which will show the available/unavailable time for each expert. The requesters will only have read-only access to the calendar Smartsheet to check the available times for the expert.

Once the requester submits a meeting request, I want the calendar cells to be automatically color coded and populated with the meeting request details only if the requested slot is not previously booked. Ideally if the form can automatically check the time availability before submission, then it will be great.

Appreciate your help in advance.

Please help me with the correct approach

    Hi @SSPM,

Forms currently don't allow removing options that have already been selected but when you have a moment, please let our Product team know about your feedback by filling in this form, here. Thank you!

I posted a while ago this response to another post where you may find some ideas that can help you building what you intend. Particularly in your sheet, you may want to add Conditional Formatting rules based on the desired value so that this applies automatically as my examples below:

When setting up these rules, pay special attention to format the "task bars" if you wish the Calendar bars coloured, otherwise, you may select the "background color" icon instead.

The setup from above would have the Calendar view populated in this way:

Which if you then publish this should be visible to the people with sufficient permissions as enabled in the publish setup. As a suggestion, you could ask the submitters to ensure to book for slots that haven't yet been booked in the Calendar.

I hope that these ideas can be of help.

    Cheers!

    Julio
