Does Smartsheet Desktop DeepLInker on Mac even work?

I like Smartsheet in a browser window and on iOS, and the price is reasonable. But the Mac Smartsheet Desktop DeepLInker app does not work.

When I click the icon to open the app, it displays the message in the screenshot below. After clicking the "Quit..." button and turning off the Smartsheet extension OFF, and then clicking the Smartsheet icon to start the app, the message pops up, but it tells me to turn the extension ON.

Round and round and round. Does not work!

Has anyone been able to get this to work?

The DeepLinker app is specific to a Smartsheet release that's currently in Beta stage and is being reviewed by members in the Early Adopter Program (EAP). If you're a member of this program, you can ask questions in the private EAP group, here!

Otherwise, if you're not a part of that program, then no - the DeepLinker app will not work at this time until the release is made public. You can subscribe to Smartsheet's Release News from this page to receive notifications.
