Baseline Start & Finish "Parent Dates" not reflecting correct first / Last children date

Hello @Paul Newcome,

I've seen your reply in one inquiry related to my inquiry, but his is about dates being assigned to children tasks.

I am using one of the available templates as below. I noticed that the parent baseline dates do not capture the correct earliest date as parent baseline Start date, and the latest end date as parent end date.

The actual Start & End Date columns roll-up though.

Thanks in advance.

The baseline columns capture static data of whatever was in the referenced column when they were created. They should not change from the original dates as they are the baseline that are used to compare against.

    Thanks @Paul Newcome.

As it is a clean sheet, i started entering the dates in the two baseline columns start & end. But the first start date & last end dates do not roll-up in the parent activity. I just did a work-around instead. I created one start & end columns and they roll-up. I copied those instead to the Baseline columns and that's what I locked as baselines. And used the two new columns as actual start & end.

    cheers!
