Conditional Drop-Down lists?

Is there a way to create a conditional drop-down list without using a form, and only using a sheet? We do not have the license level to create a data table.

Example:

Product selected from first list (one column): Internet Access

Internet Access type selected from second drop-down list (second column): Fiber Dedicated, Coax, etc.

The only way to "accomplish" this would be to have the separate dropdown columns for each of the first choices and then use conditional formatting to gray out the cells that are not applicable based on the selection.

Conditional drop-down lists seems like something a lot of users are asking for, and would be top of the list on Smartsheet's product backlog. Any potential dates for when this functioanlity would be released?

We have a contact list drop down in one sheet. Every time we add a new user we would like their first name, last name, and email to appear in that contact drop down list. This seems so trivial we can't believe that this functionality doesn't exist in Smartsheet. Is there any plans to add this feature any time soon?
