Auto populate Address from Address ID
Hello! I have a sheet that takes in a form for different build sites. I am trying to figure out how to auto populate an address from and address ID that’s input from a form. The address would be associated to this address ID from an Excel sheet containing all the information. I was thinking of pulling the address (and possibly other information like email address) from the Excel sheet after the address ID is submitted from the form to the SmartSheet. I’m not sure how I would go about this. Would I use an automation with cell change? That didn’t really go anywhere. And I’m not sure what function would work for this either. Is this possible?

You would need to store the reference information in Smartsheet. Then you could use an INDEX/MATCH or a VLOOKUP.

I see that you marked Paul's response as not answering your question. I agree that the easiest thing to do here would be to import your Excel database into Smartsheet so that you could use formulas to auto-populate the data.
