Can you link a field in Summary data from multiple sheets to a report?

I am trying to produce a report of specific Summary data fields, across multiple sheets, and aggregate a list of that particular field. Any ideas on how to do this?

In a nutshell, I'm trying to produce a report that will forecast target project delivery dates and I'm currently tracking those target dates in a Summary field in each project's schedule sheet.

I'd recommend linking those fields somewhere on the sheet(s) and then collecting them to a so-called helper sheet where you can calculate further as needed.

Thank you @Andrée Starå. Furthermore, is there a way to show only milestone dates on a Gantt chart for reporting purposes? I am trying to show a visual artifact that depicts a pipeline of projects targeted for Q1, Q2, etc. Thanks!

Regarding milestones

You can have the Report Builder check for 0-day duration tasks (Milestones) and show that.
