Using contains for a date in a range of dates

Hey guys,

I would like to check if a certian date appears in a range of dates. I tried contains function but it only works for string/int type.

I would like to check if 8/12/22 (CF col) is in holiday col, and if it is, then take CF date and minus 2.

I tried this formula:

=IF(CONTAINS(CF@row, holiday:holiday), CF@row - 2, CF@row)

but it won't work

is there any way to to that?

@Nitzan try something like

=if(countifs(holiday:holiday, cf@row) > 0, CF@row -2, CF@row)
