I need a formula that works for the following:

For a column with check marks - IF the cell has a checkmark/star, count it as 1.

Options
@hfouts You can use the COUNTIF function to count any checkmarks when they are checked (=1)
=Countif([Column with Checkmarks]:[Column with Checkmarks], 1)
