Highlight Today's Date on a Report

Hello- is there a way to highlight today's date in a report without having to go back to the source pages? I would like to have our Go Live board to have "today's" date highlighted while also having the rest of the dates for the on the report, so it helps our implementations and field team plan.

If you're ok with todays date being highlighted on the source sheet you can do a conditional format on there and it will show up on your report as well.

Wouldn't that mean that the source sheet is manually updated every day? We're trying to reduce the number of manual touches done.

You can automate the "touches".

That still did not work. It did not record the date in the Helper Date column. Also, Smartsheet is not giving me the option to highlight a cell when "today" date is reached, as part of the automation. From the comment above, I would need to highlight my cell in my source sheet so it can move over to the report, but I'm not able to do that either.
