WBS formula question

I am using the WBS Template from Smartsheets and I would like to add a row at the top to capture the project name and percent complete. I would like to modify the WBS formula(s) to have this row be known as WBS element 0 and then have the parents for each stage of the project start at the WBS level 1, 2, 3, etc. (not 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 as pictured below). Any suggestions on how to modify?

Hi Maria,

Within the context of this template sheet, the following Column formula should achieve what you intend: =IF(Level@row = 1, 0, COUNT(ANCESTORS()) + Suffix@row - 1). See the example below for your reference:

Note, however, that if your add further levels of hierarchy to your tasks, this may stop working as desired in these sub-tasks.
