Stop Duration Day Count When Harvey Ball is Changed to Green
Hello, All,
I need to count the number of days it takes for an employee to complete a task.
Currently, I manually add tasks and I have an auto-generated date/time column and the employee will change a Harvey ball green when they complete the task.
I want to track how long it is taking the employee to complete the task after the task is entered. Is there a good way to do this?

Can use the "Record a Date" automation. Set to trigger when rows are changed, and your status field (or whatever column the harvey ball is in) changes to Green to "record a date" in a column on the same row (see attached--I used "Date Complete". Then, add a helper column that subtracts "Date Completed" from "Date Created" to give the number of days between assignment and completion of the task. If you do not currently use the Date Created column, or you do not create a new row each time you assign a task, then you would first want to build an automation to record the date when you assign the task and use that instead of the automatic "Date Created" column to calculate the number of days between assignment and completion.
Hope this helps--
