What are the Data Mesh Cell limitations
Hi, I know when I run Data Mesh there are limitation to how many cells can be updated but I don't remember how many cells are allowed. Does anyone know?
Thanks

Hi @Kimbh
The Data Mesh limits are the same as sheet limits:
While you could theoretically update 20,000 rows, I would not recommend this as Data Mesh workflows can time out if they don’t complete within a certain length of time.
Note that if you're using the cell-link feature with Data Mesh, then based on cell-link limits you'll only be able to create up to 500 cell links at a time, with a maximum number of inbound links in a sheet being 20,000.
I hope that helps!
Cheers,
Genevieve

Thanks, I only need the update to run one way, not synced between sheet. Should that setting be Copy Data or Copy and Add Data?

Hi @Kimbh
Depends what you need! 🙂
- Copy Data will only copy over data that has a match between the two sheets based on the Lookup Value
- Copy and Add Data will copy over data with a matching lookup value, but it will also add new Lookup Values from the source sheet that don't have a matching lookup value in the target sheet
See: About DataMesh
