Need to set date to 12/31 of the year of another cell's entry

Example: column A, "Awarded Date" is 5/1/22. (Yes, it is set as the Date type.)
I want column B, "Expiration Date" to be 12/31/22. How do I parse for the year 22 from column A to create an entry that shows 12/31/22?
