Using Symbols as baseline for IF/THEN
Hello - I am controlling the 4 color symbols where each color represents a letter.
Red = "D"; Yellow = "I"; Green = "S", and Blue = "C". When I select the color, I need another cell to enter the letter label.
I'm very new to using smartsheet formulas and can't seem to find examples like this in the discussion forum. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi @CJRod85
I hope you're well and safe!
Try something like this.
=IF(RYGB@row = "Red", "D", IF(RYGB@row = "Yellow", "I", IF(RYGB@row = "Green", "S", IF(RYGB@row = "Blue", "C"))))
Did that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!
