I've never had trouble publishing a sheet, but when I publish a sheet today, It requries the colleague to sign in. this is new. I've tested other published sheets and they are still open without a log in.
You will need to change who has access to the published link. Smartsheet recently changed the default. Here's is some verbiage that I received last week...
.
"Hello,
We want to alert you to a change we made regarding the default access control setting when publishing a sheet, report, or dashboard.
Previously, the default selection for publishing was "Available to anyone with the link," a choice that was sometimes kept by users without knowing the option could potentially expose sensitive data if the link was shared outside of the sheet owner's account to unintended recipients.
To provide more safeguards, the default selection for publishing will be "Only available to users in the owner's account." With this selection, users will need to be part of the owner's account and logged in to access the published item."
Hope this helps.
Thank you.
Happy to help!
I'm receiving this message every time I try to open my sheets. I'm the only admin user. I have already performed proper troubleshooting, such as clearing the cache, logging in incognito, and logging out and back in, but the issue remains unresolved. It's been a few days, and I'm unable to track our projects and this…
I’ve created an automation that generates a document and forwards it to the individual specified in a cell. The line item also has several additional attachments associated with it. Is there a way to include those attachments with the generated document?
I have an automation set up that copies a row to another sheet each day. The automation itself works correctly, but the problem is that it copies the formulas rather than the values, which causes the formulas to break and return errors. How can I configure it to copy only the values instead of the formulas?
