Including Contact Criteria in SUMIFS Formula

Hi!

I am attempting to include a Contact Name as criteria in a SUMIFS formula.

I'd like to sum Claire Robertson-Kraft's "September Actual Hours" for the "Red & Blue Exchange" project.

I've written this formula (below) and it is returning the #CONTACT EXPECTED error. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix it?

=SUMIFS([September Actual Hours]:[September Actual Hours], Project:Project, ="Red & Blue Exchange", Who:Who, ="Claire Robertson-Kraft")

What type of column or Summary field are you putting this formula into? Since the output of that formula is a number (the SUM of the Hours column), then the CONTACT EXPECTED error can appear if you're pasting this formula into a contact field instead of into a text/number field. (See here for more on the error.)

Try pasting the exact same formula into either a Text/Number column or into a Text/Number field in your Sheet Summary. Let me know if that works!
