Then how about using a single text field, naming it signature, making this mandatory (if that is required) and use the Help text to indicate that typing in their full name means they are signing? You could use a further checkbox that is also mandatory to indicate that this is confirmation that they have signed and then submitted.

Then perhaps I am misunderstanding the question.

When you mean regular situation, do you mean that someone gets a form and then you want them to use a mouse to create a signature, upload an image or use an adobe / docu-sign field so that they can add a signature?

Now I understand

I looked for an integration app and couldn't find one.

I also tried using the draw feature to see if I could draw into the field in my iPad and that didn't work.

I even tried the proofing feature to see if I could write on it.

The only other solution I can think of is the document generator.

The other option is document generator.

Have all the fields export to a pdf that has the legal stuff that you want and the final fillable field will be where the person could use Adobe sign.

Whilst a pain, they could then sign that document (as you can attach the document to the row) they can sign it and then it attaches as version 2. You could then lock the fields of the row so that you don't then upload another item.

Would be a great feature if it connected to adobe sign.

I am also looking for this feature, If Smartsheet will not provide good solution I will consider to move to other providers
