Have Update Requests and Comments Carry Over across Smartsheet

We have several, SEVERAL sheets that capture very similar info. For example, SHEET A may have JOB # 1234, and that same job # is, also, found on 10 other sheets in SS.

The problem I am seeing is that if an employee writes a comment or sends an iupdate request from the job #, in, let's say, SHEET A, another employee may see that same job number in another sheet, SHEET B for example, but not see any of the comments or update requests - He/she may then create another, identical update request or comment thus clouding things even further.

Is there ANY way to have such comments and requests follow a job number across SS?

Currently comments and update requests are row-specific which means they're set to only that specific sheet where the row is found.

The way I would personally manage this is to create a Report that gathers together all 10 sheets into one view, then Group this Report by Job Number. Although Update Requests aren't visible in Reports, row comments are visible and even editable directly from the Report. Would that work for you?
