Yes. You would do the regular range
=COUNTIFS({Range},
Then the criteria will be an OR function with @cell references.
=COUNTIFS({Range}, OR(@cell = "This", @cell = "That"), .................

How to count blanks similarly ... Review Status column has "Pending Resolution" or "" as blanks...
