permissions for a sheet and reports

is there a way to have different permission for the same individuals shared on a sheet and multiple reports?

Ex: source Spreadsheet permission Group A, Group B. Group C

each group has a clone report sheet, Group A can See updates downstream from Group B & Group C.

But Group A in Group A report should be restricted to editing Group B/C update columns

Yes, there are multiple ways to structure a solution.

How many users/groups?
Would it be okay that the different users could see the whole sheet?
Do you have any access to the Premium apps, Dynamic View, or WorkApps?
