Automation on self-updating cells
Hello everybody,
I need to set an automatism based on a cell that is updated from a link to another sheet.
The automatism is set to recognize whenever the value of that cell changes. The problem is: seems that since the modification of the cell is not done manually but it is modified by recovering the data from another sheet, the actual sheet does not recognize that cell modification as an actual cell modification... therefore the automatism doe not work.
Anybody can relate about?

Automations will not run based on cells linked from other sheets or containing cross sheet references to avoid creating a circular issue. You would need to set up the automation to run on a date/time basis and set it as a condition of when the linked cell is equal to a certain value.
