Form Entry Mystery! Validation Failure...
I am trying to figure out how a form user was able to enter alpha characters into a form field restricted to numbers only.
The form settings were last updated on 9/14. When I checked the form settings after the text entry was made, the field was set to "Number only" validation.
I have tried to replicate this, but I cannot. I've tried Ctrl-C/Ctrl-V, Copy/Paste, Extended ASCII, customizing the URL, adding form entries via Edge mobile, via the Smartsheet iPhone app, and as anonymous user in Firefox... Nothing lets me add text to that field even as licensed owner/admin of the sheet.
So how in the heck did this happen???

@Jeff Reisman Smartsheet bug... or I'm not sure how Smartsheet does their form validation, but if they use Javascript or some client side validation, then maybe something on the user's device blocked the validation script some how?
Just a thought....

Interesting idea... If only a Smartsheet tech could answer this and tell us if you're on the right track.
