Formula not returning value as expected
Hi all and help!
I have made a formula to check a box when there is a duplicate ID Number in my sheet. But the box is getting checked when I add any new row to my sheet. I've tried to find where I'm going wrong and can't seem to find it.
Can someone with fresh eyes lend a hand?

Hi @Beth Fantozzi 1 I think when you add in new rows the formula is seeing the blank ID Numbers as duplicates, try this formula to account for this:
=IF([ID Number]@row <> "", IF(COUNTIF([ID Number]:[ID Number], [ID Number]@row) > 1,1,0), "")
