Periodic snapshots of important project artefacts

Hi Community,

One of my colleagues would like to take a regular snapshot of their project plan and risk log, and attach this to a status update line within a sheet, for future audit purposes.

I thought about using document builder for this, but I don't believe it will work as that can only accommodate one row per page.

Does anyone have any cunning ideas how to do this?

You should be able to use the API or the premium add-on Bridge to accomplish this. Otherwise you are looking at a rather manual process.

Please could you give me some more details or direction on how to look into using the API? Bridge is not on the cards for us this year, unfortunately, but I do have skilled tech resource who could help with an integration.

Below is a link to the official API documentation. Basically you are going to need to export the project plan as an excel or csv file (not sure if PDF is an option) and then setup a flow to grab that export and attach.
