Displaying tasks added in past 7 days

Hi Team,

I have a sheet shared with customer where every now and then a new row with a new "task" is added. Every row contains details about the task.

My goal is to display task names added in the past 7 days in a dashboard.

I don't want to add any helper columns since the sheet is shared. Maybe use some helper reference sheet? I looked at various formulas but nothing I tried so far suits entirely. I got stuck and can't figure it out.

Could you point me to the right direction?

There is a report filter that when pointed at a date type column is specifically for "is in the last (days)", and you can enter however many days you want to go back.

Also keep in mind... You will need a date type column or the system generated created date type column on your sheet to be able to filter by it.

Helper columns can always be hidden after setting them up if you are worried about keeping the sheet clean for other users.

@Janka You can create a report from the sheet and put that on the dashboard. You can filter the created by date to be within that last 7 days.

Is it also somehow possible to always automatically show the last 7 days? Without me going in the report and filtering by day to be the last 7 days.
