Request For Approval

We are using Smartsheet to Approve or Reject document revisions.

Originator: person who makes a doc change and sends it out for approval

Reviewers: person who either approves or rejects changes

If a Reviewer decides to Reject, is there a method where the Reviewer has a place to type and explain why they rejected it.....which they would be part of the auto email flow back to the Originator.

You would need to send out an Update Request instead of an Approval Request.

Yes, you could use the comment area before rejecting it.

Another option could be to use the Update Request feature, giving you more flexibility.
