Adding a voice - i think this should just be part of the core platform

Being able to maintain a list of project tags and properties in one set of sheets and then reference these as drop downs on other sheets summaries would be a amazing leap forward to facilitate portfolio reporting

Our organization blocks attachments (I get a permission denied on the outflow execution even though I'm an owner on the target sheet) - is there another solution?

Hi @EliHam certainly! Instead of making the offload / upload source a Smartsheet attachment, you can use any other Data Shuttle offload / upload source (e.g. Google Drive, Box, OneDrive, Sharepoint).

Unfortunately, all of those are blocked (it's a big enterprise that locks these things down). Is there any other way to do this?

Hi @EliHam - are you sure your organization is currently using Data Shuttle? I would be a bit surprised if they were as Data Shuttle requires one of these options to function. I would recommend reaching out to your account team to discuss your options here a bit more!

Is Data Shuttle a paid app? I don't see why it would be necessary to deploy an extra app to populate from a sheet within Smartsheet - I understand the extra app to populate from other sources, but from a sheet within the same Smartsheet account?!? That seems like a major flaw.

Was looking for something like this, but I recognise why Smartsheet are avoiding this like the plague. Imagine the complexities in maintaining integrity in the list. How do you handle values removed from the list (keep, drop, flag, etc)?

Disappointing it is not in there, but it is a can of worms.
