Is there a way to split responses from a form into two separate columns on the sheet?

We use our SmartSheet form to submit orders for various events that we host. The form is sent to our leadership, but they usually like to see what we ordered last year, so they can compare it to what is submitted for this year.

My question is - I want to split my order form into two sections: one for this year's order, and then another section where we can enter the information from last year. Once the form is submitted, I want this year's order to go in one column, and the previous year's order to go in the column next to it.

Is there a way to accomplish this?

@Paul Newcome - I am trying to see if its possible to have answers from a form be split into two separate columns. We use our form and intake sheet to place orders for giveaways at Trade shows. I am wanting to add a section at the bottom of the form that has the ability to fill out what we submitted for last year's trade show, but have that last year's info appear in its own column once the Form is submitted.

In essence, I am trying to see if its possible to use one Form for our orders, but once submitted, the information in the form can be split between two columns. Let me know if that makes more sense.

If you are putting the data into a different field in the form, it will be a different column in the sheet. Each form field is a column.

Another question if you don't mind - I'm using a join/collect formula for my form, but I want to be able to edit the data in the column where the join/collect is at. Is there anything I can do?
