Need help with a simple Status Formula
Ok I admit, I very special when it comes to formulas in either Smartsheet or excel.
I need a formula for Statuses: New, In Progress, and Complete. This information is coming from my tracker to the metric sheet to my dashboard. How do I make this happen?

I use this quite a lot!
=COUNTIF({Status Column}, "[Status]")
Select the Status column from the sheet for Column by clicking on Edit Reference and replace [Status] with for each corresponding status.

In the metric sheet. To select the Status Column, click on Edit Reference and you'll have to find the tracker file and select the status column.

Any screensnip or further detail on what you want the formula to do with/to the statuses would be great :)

I need something that when every time someone updates the status in the tracker (stat1 image) my metric sheet (stat2 image) automatically updates.

Okay, I need a little hand holding here, Where do I put the formula? In the metric sheet or the tracker. I am getting a '#Invalid Ref" message
