I would like to be able to customize the Card View to different layouts, instead of just columns or swim lanes.

+1 for this idea!
I believe Jira has this function already
Cadence is a rhythmic pattern of events that provides the steady heartbeat of the development process. It makes routine everything that can be routine, so developers can focus on managing the variable part of solution development. Synchronization allows multiple solution perspectives to be understood, resolved, and integrated at the same time.
It would be great to have swim lanes for the card view. It will give another dimension of card organization and management.
i'd like this too!
Card view has a great ability to work as an Agile format for a subsection of our team, while maintaining the overall picture for the full team. Because Card view maximized the screen real estate, I prefer Card view over Board View. I would like to offer some enhancement opportunities for Card View: (1) ability to create a card w/out scrolling to the bottom of the column to click "+" ; 2) I'd like to add a subtask to a card that does not already have subtasks. You can add subtasks to a parent card which already has subtasks, but not a card that does not. 3) add swim lanes to card view to further separate various tasks, and 4) ability to eliminate columns in the card view from the dropdown that are not wanted. Thanks.
supporting swimlaned in the kanban board view will help us to really have the setup needed for a Kanban team
+1 on this. The ability to add swimlanes to group project work either by teams or individual task assignee is a great feature for agile / kanban workflow. Please add this! Esp if the Card or Board views were geared towards agile teams
+1 as well. Please add this feature - not having this features cripples the usefulness of the card view. Some users at our org use a competitive product simply because SS doesn't have this functionality.
I like to be able to have the swimlanes to help with a few things
Some nice additions to this feature would be being able to have lead time collection capabilities (time between states) More advanced flow help could be useful for some teams where workflow requirements can be mandated (you can't reach done until you complete x part of review). Although the most important part is definitely just the ability to get the swimlanes for #1 or #2 above.
Please reach out if any PM would like to discuss :)
Being able to group horizontally and vertical by selectable fields (columns) would be really useful. I'd either use it to group activities by status and groups of activities required to deliver a solution component, or group by status and resource to distribute work within a team based on capacity. It would be useful if the horizontal lane could be collapsed and expanded so that I could collapse items that don't need to be discussed at a scrum meeting.
Wondering if there is an update on Smartsheet introducing horizontal swim lanes? Seems to be a popular request from others and something we are now looking to other providers for as it seems it is still not available in Smartsheet. Card and Board view put the parent headers into Uncategorized and are therefore useless when you are trying to manage the cards under their respective areas (parent).
Although we are extremely proficient when it comes to reducing load on our smartsheets (we use pivot, data mesh and data shuttle extensively), we still find ourselves hitting capacity limits (mostly because of the number of columns in conjunction with some pretty complex formulas). Breaking up data between sheets and…
As the smartsheet admin for Europe, it would be extremely helpful to be able to view all Automations / recurring emailed reports in one place as opposed to sheet level. It's almost impossible to ensure everything is working correctly / delete recurring emailed reports without this.
It would be extremely beneficial to have the ability to manually assign colors to individual projects within the Timeline View. Currently, project colors are automatically determined by the Dashboard Theme, which limits flexibility and makes it challenging to visually differentiate projects in a meaningful way. Allowing…
