Edit fields directly in 'View Summary' in Dynamic View vs. using Details Panel
It would be much more efficient in Dynamic view for editing fields if you could just click into the field and edit it right there instead of having to click on the field, wait for the Details Panel to open, then scroll through the list of options and enter the data into the details panel.
From an administrator point of view, we could simply configure the view summary visible fields to be editable or not instead of having to build an entire details panel configuration

I would like to use dynamic view like a sheet - with limited access and specific fields/columns. My Managers could update multiple rows at one time through the row view OR manage their choices through the use Interface directly. Therfore the field functionality would need to be accessible through the row view directly.

Completely agree

1000% agree with this.... this is one of the biggest cons of Dynamic View for me.

I agree, that's what people internally ask me to.
Considering reports cannot be directly editable in the dashboard, I use the dynamic view so people can use and edit reports or sheets in a dashboard, and while having a detail panel can be useful sometimes, nobody finds it intuitive to have to click on it to be editing fields.

Second, Third, Fourth this idea.
- Allow for editing directly in table.
- Allow multi-row editing.
Saving after each row input is too cumbersome.

For me I would love to be able to at least click on a checkbox and check it without having to open the details field.
