Please make this available in Card View as well! The Board view doesn't function as well as the Card View for our purposes.

Good news - in the new Board view, the details panel does not show any data in hidden columns. Supporting configuration of which fields appear in the details panel is a further enhancement that our product team is researching for new views.
It would be great in any sheet to have the ability to allow columns to be hidden in the Edit Row dialog. As an extension of this request, a complete column management dialog/table might be a much cleaner way to manage hidden columns overall in a sheet rather than unhiding all to make an edit to a column formula, then remembering which ones to re-hide.
@James Vandezande typically when I need to edit one or two columns the PM had hidden them along with others. Trying to remember what they hid is the worse.

@Meg Y - I hear you! Fortunately for us we have our project teams as Editors, so only our technology support team are Admins. But, what I've started to do is use conditional formatting to color the columns that should be hidden some shade that we don't normally use like purple or beige.
I don't see why all hidden fields in grid view would display within Card View. If they are hidden, it should remain hidden in Card View. This would make Card View much better with respect to how much clutter exists for columns not intended to be viewed.
