This is just awful. It makes the sheet so cluttered and cumbersome.
Having a setting to toggle these off should be fairly trivial.

It would be great to have the option to disable the "Used in Formula" display. The formula pop up gets in the way of navigating reading content. Lengthens the time taken to do basic functions, which isn't efficient.
I agree. This pop up is extremely intrusive. Specifically for our general users. They do not need nor do they have access to the back end sheets. When they try to click on an item in the sheet, they have to click elsewhere to move the pop up. Sometime two or three times. There should be an option to turn this functionality off. Even better, to have the option to turn it off except for admins.
It would be great for users to have the ability to disable the pop-up box that appears with reference/formula information when you hover over a field.
I agree! This pop-up makes it really challenging to work in a Smartsheet filled with data being pulled into other sheets. I accidentally click on the pop up (or worse- the delete link within the pop-up) all the time. It's really frustrating and adds time to my work trying to get around the pop-up. The ability to turn this on/off would be really helpful (even at the admin level).
Commenting to boost.
When working in a spreadsheet, the hover boxes that pop up with formula or link information are annoying and inconvenient. Is there any way you can please remove them? They slow me down and get in the way.
Please provide a way to disable the "Used in Formula" pop-up. This pop-up is constantly in the way of reading the cell and sometimes when I click on the cell I accidently click on the popup instead taking me to another view. Others have also made this complaint. See https://community.smartsheet.com/discussion/98705/remove-used-in-formula-tooltip. Thank you for your help here

I use a lot of cell links and very complex formulas. Often when navigating a sheet I need to look at multiple rows but when I hover over a cell with a large formula it pops up, blocking my view of the information I need so I spend a lot of time fighting my schedules just to get information. I would love to be able to toggle off that hover functionality. If I need to see or edit a formula, being able to toggle that on to then see the formulas would help streamline a lot of the ways we work in Smartsheet.
Most customer's metadata houses their profile data, some from intake sheet and some either cell linked in or brought into metadata using formulas. Needs change after design and often the new data point needed comes from non-metadata templates, which can cause a blocker if methods used are those above. If it were possible…
Our sheets & workspaces require many people to have Admin level capabilities, which means that when someone requests access to a sheet or workspace, that email is sent to every Admin. This causes confusion and higher risk of no access granted (because people have learned to ignore the emails) or the wrong level of access…
Today you can create a form and add logic. If that logic requires that requests need to be made for X days in the future you can add logic to help. For instance is the date requirement is not met you can hide fields so that information cannot be submitted completely. You can display a banner if date requirements are not…
