Duplicating/copying a field in a form

Is it possible to copy/duplicate a field in a form? My current workaround is to create a new field and copy/paste the same info over from the field I want to copy/duplicate, but that is very tedious and not ideal. Is there any easier workaround/solution?

Hoping this gets implemented soon, really need to copy various fields, also a good idea is to have groups, like the divider function as section identifier and the user can copy the whole section, it is useful for multi-data entry with a section defining some general information for the same data entry.

I am also looking to copy a field to save LOTS of time in Smartsheet. Is this still not possible even though @Ali Hoyt and @Alfonzo Trinidad Baca Alvarado brought this up and submitted a request in 2021?

For whatever reason I cannot use the Vote Up feature so I commenting to add my vote to include copy/paste in Forms as an enhancement. Thank you.

Copy and paste of form fields, especially logic fields is PAINFULLY NEEDED!
It's time for the Smartsheet product team to move this to the top of their backlog.

Used GPT to write the code for a smartsheet style app and included this feature. It was super easy.

Sadly my company can't use the apps I write otherwise I'd petition to get us off smartsheet
