I'm so pleased to see the release of the Desktop App. Such a key feature, so well done.
It would be great to have dark mode included in the app.

Is there or could there be a dark mode? My eyes are killing me with the super bright white screen.
How Dark Mode is not being considered is beyond me. The brightness of an all white screen gives me headaches so I have everything set on dark mode. Surely it should be classed as an accessibility issue?!
I am here to be the millionth person requesting Dark Mode. It appears to be a aggressively common request that users have been asking for well before 2020. Per a different post requesting dark mode, they were directed to this post from 2023 to show support for this feature request. This is a universal accessibility feature and you're a global company, when can we expect Dark Mode?
Adding a +1 for this. I don't want it for the Desktop App, I want it for native web app.
I've always struggled with the lack of dark mode for years, but I have found a Chrome extension that actually works and doesn't cause the color formatting to go super wonky. I'm still in the early stages of using it (roughly 2 weeks at this point), but so far it seems very adaptable.

Still nothing I see. I love dark mode and it's what I use on everything system wise on my laptop.
I would also like to see a dark mode for the Windows desktop application, the white background is far too bright. Even a gray background would be better than white. The browser version allows for dark mode, so why would the app not allow for this too?
I am adding my voice to the request for dark mode in Smartsheet. I use Smartsheet in most of my work and dark mode would help reduce the number of headaches. Please consider and prioritize this accommodation!
As many others have already said, this is such a common feature request from customers going back at least 5 years, yet still nothing? I suppose if people are still paying for the service without a dark mode option, then there's a case to be made for not doing it until the customers are fed up enough that they start leaving, but come on.
Since it looks like Darksheet isn't being actively developed anymore, we've created a Chrome extension specifically for Smartsheet. It's free.
Check it out!Darkmode by Archer
Hi @Sam_Harwart,
Great idea, and thanks for sharing!
I only wish I could use it. My company blocks us from doing so due to potential security risks. Doh!

Totally get it. We generally stay away from building Chrome extensions for that exact reason but wanted to offer it to those who are able to use it!
Our sheets & workspaces require many people to have Admin level capabilities, which means that when someone requests access to a sheet or workspace, that email is sent to every Admin. This causes confusion and higher risk of no access granted (because people have learned to ignore the emails) or the wrong level of access…
The current logic behind the "Last Activity" column in the True-Up is not useful for performing True-Up nor ongoing reviews of licensed seats. I need to know when someone last made a modification to any sheet regardless of the level assigned to the modified sheet. In my case I have a project manager who is an owner on…
Today you can create a form and add logic. If that logic requires that requests need to be made for X days in the future you can add logic to help. For instance is the date requirement is not met you can hide fields so that information cannot be submitted completely. You can display a banner if date requirements are not…
