I'd like to share a timeline view with users who don't have smartsheet accounts. Please let us choose timeline view as the default view for read only published sheets

I second this request! Timeline view is much less valuable to me without the ability to publish.

Agreed! This is such a user friendly view and to be able to pin it in our Teams channel so my team can quickly eyeball tasks for the week would be super helpful!
Just upvoted this one, too. It's a must for clearly communicating schedules to people who struggle with a traditional Gantt chart format, and we're not going to get the impact of this new feature if we can't publish with it as the default view.

Need to be able to set the timeline view as the default view when publishing a sheet. Currently only able to set it to card, grid and calendar. Would be great to have timeline as an option for embedding a published sheet in a teams tab or putting the timeline on a dashboard

Hi there! I'm a daily Smartsheet user with fairly advanced experience, though not very active in this community. I'm looking to understand the status of this feature suggestion: the ability to publish timeline views directly to dashboards, Teams channels, etc.
It would be incredibly useful to share timeline views with applied filters and grouping, so stakeholders can see specific, tailored perspectives without needing full access to the sheet.

While I would love to have timeline as a saved view and shareable, can you update the flavor of gantt to the timeline styles? It is much more professional for Exec reviews.
Enable a feature to be able to export the 'Timeline' view externally
Right now you can only publish a sheet in Grid, Card, or Calendar view. It would be extremely helpful to be able to publish in Timeline (most important) and Board view. Right now we have to add to a Dashboard, and the publish the Dashboard.
As one of the system admins, it is absurd to me that I cannot view or have access to all of the items created in my organization.
