Is Smartsheet an advertising network?

I normally do not do this, but last week I had to do a training with limited internet connectivity and used the Opera browser to get max speed. So surprised to see that the ad-blocker of Opera had to work overtime on the Smartsheet site. See attachment of the ads blocked in the last 7 days.

What is happening here? Is Smartsheet a hidden advertising network?

Hi Victor,

We are not an advertising company, hidden or otherwise. We are a cloud-based work execution platform for people around the world.

At their core, ad blockers are computer applications. They use algorithms and databases to block what they perceive as ads. We do use Google analytics and numerous other analytic resources to help us maintain and improve Smartsheet as a platform. We also have live banners at the top of Smartsheet communicate information about us (updates, events, status conditions of services, etc.).

I'm speculating here, but it's possible that the ad blocker you're using is blocking some of that.
