Hi, I am trying to use countifs by referencing another sheet. Here's what/how I am trying to create a report from another smartsheet:

I am trying to count the different type of  Tickets for each of my developers. For example, for David I want to count how many Problem ticket has been assigned to him and how many request ticket has been assigned to him. I am referencing another sheet but it's showing "UNPARSEABLE"

=COUNTIFS({31Web Team Task Management Range 1}, [ASSIGNEE: ASSIGNEE] "DAVID NICKS", [TICKET Type]:[TICKET Type], "Problem")

Please Help. Thanks.

Try by removing the [ASSIGNEE: ASSIGNEE] from the formula.

HERE is some info on referencing data in another sheet.

When you reference another sheet, you select the column (or other range) that you want to reference, and the name generated (or whatever you change the range name to) will always refer to that specific range.

When you are creating the cross sheet references, first select the Assignee column in the other sheet, enter the criteria for that column's range, then use the appropriate steps to create a second cross sheet reference and select the Ticket Type column. Then you can add the Ticket Type criteria, and the formula should be working.

It would end up looking something like this...

=COUNTIFS({31Web Team Task Management Assignee Column}, "DAVID NICKS", {31Web Team Task Management Ticket Type Column}, "Problem")
